The reason for the graph paper is that I am a professional Dungeon Master.
Do you do paintings as well?
Nope.
I've tried in the past and I've found if I sit down to try and draw with that purpose in mind, I can't do it. Actually, that's not true. It's when I sit down and say "I will now draw a banana" or if somebody asks me to draw something specifically, I can't do it. It ends up looking like crap. People that can draw on command are rare.
But if I sit down with a pen and I can usually fake something pretty good. I usually start with a line, then decide what I'm going to draw after that.
